          <title>NOAA Habitat Restoration Grant</title>
          <overview>NOAA seeks proposals that will restore coastal habitat, create jobs and stimluate the economy.  NOAA has begun accepting proposals for coastal habitat restoration projects under the ARRA of 2009.  The effort will foster healthy and resilient communities while generating and protecting jobs for the people whose task it will be to restore valuable coastal and marine habitat.  NOAA anticipates that up to $170 million may be available for coastal and marine habitat restoration; typical awards are expected to range between $1.5 million and $10 million</overview>

          <title>NIST Grants Synopsis</title>
          <overview>Recovery Act Measurement Science and Engineering Research Grants Program: Providing the Technology Infrastructure to Address National Priorities. The U.S. Department of Commerce, National Institute of Standards and Technology, announces the availability of up to $35 million to award approximately 20-60 grants and cooperative agreements in support of measurement science and engineering research as part of NIST's activities through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (Recovery Act). Proposals will be considered that address measurement science and engineering research needs in areas of national importance. These areas of national importance are energy, environment and climate change, information technology/cybersecurity, biosciences/healthcare, manufacturing, and physical infrastructure.</overview>
